Middlesex Chamber’s Hal Kaplan Mentor Program to be honored at 14th Annual Mayor's Ball

Any Mayor has the pleasure of observing the quiet heroes around us everyday.

It has been my pleasure for eight years to see the continuous impact of the Middlesex County Chamber’s Hal Kaplan Mentor program — named for the dedicated and widely respected principal who spent decades guiding young people in the community.

Each day, volunteers give their own time and energy to mentoring students in the Middletown schools. The program provides young people with valuable one-on-one time with an adult in the community who cares for them and mentors them throughout their academic career. It’s an inspiring sight.

That’s why I have chosen the Middlesex Chamber’s Hal Kaplan Mentor Program as the beneficiary of the 2019 Mayor’s Ball on April 27, 2019 at the Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown.

I have been fortunate to see the great work done each day by the Chamber and the mentors in its program. Please join me in supporting this valuable cause.

Sincerely,

Daniel T. Drew
