[ARCHIVED] Main and Washington Street Closures on 6/15 for Pride Parade

The City of Middletown will be hosting the Middletown Pride Parade which will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2019 and begin at 2 PM with an approximate end time of 3:30 PM.  At the conclusion of the parade, there will be a Pride Festival at the South Green located on Main Street between Old Church Street and Pleasant Street and that the Festival is slated to end at 7 PM. 

Road closures will include Main Street from Union Street to St. John’s Square, and Washington Street (Rt66) from High Street to DeKoven Drive. These roads will be closed to traffic starting at approximately 1:00 PM.

Motorists traveling over the Arrigoni Bridge from Portland will be directed down Hartford Avenue to Route 9.  Motorists traveling on Washington Street (RT 66) will be detoured at High Street. 

Once the parade concludes, Main Street will remain closed from William Street to Union Street and will reopen at the conclusion of the event.
